Quick Tilapia and Pecans

August 7, 2009

Here is a quick and tasty protein option that I make often and love!  I buy the tilapia package that wraps each filet separately so I can just cook one at a time.

Ingredients:

  • Tilapia fillet
  • Olive Oil Spray
  • Shilling Lemon and Herbs Seasoning
  • 1/8 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Heat skillet to medium and spray with Olive Oil spray.
  2. Place chopped pecans on plate.
  3. Season defrosted fillet on both sides with lemon and herb seasoning.
  4. Cook fillet on both sides approximately 3-4 minutes (watch for the edge to turn solid).
  5. Place cooked fillet on pecans.

Serve with a side of string beans and slivered almonds for a perfect acute phase dinner or lunch.  That’s it!  Enjoy!
